Roxy Music: To Turn You On

Not necessarily the best song on the album, but one that's been speaking to me lately. A semi-schmaltzy yuppie power ballad with a beat. Featuring the legendary Alan Spenner on bass. Wicked muted fill from guitarist Neil Hubbard at the 0:25 mark; anomalous vocal double-tracking at 1:51.

Hey! I've also been grooving to this lately! Love Avalon. 'Same Old Scene' from Flesh + Blood has been thrilling me too...

Agreed, Davy, Same Old Scene is "the jam", as they say.

It's the fine-cut marmalade.

Ah, well-played, Davy.

I know this is un-P.C. of me but I'm probably going to vote for Bryan Ferry over Brian Eno.
