    though one shouldn't play the BB/D. Wilson against marvin gaye i regard marvin g.'s "forever" as slightly better.

    Anonymous liked the Marvin Gaye/Marvelettes song better than Dennis Wilson's version.
    Well Marvin's "Forever" is a completely different song and was released five years earlier.

    The best Beach Boys song for me is God Only Knows. I usually hate adverts but I'm eternally grateful to the new Volkswagen one for allowing me to rediscover it.
