The highlight was a hard-hitting rendition of "It Don't Mean a Thing if it Ain't Got That Swing", which I still recall vividly.<BR/><BR/>Come to think of it, I also saw Elvin do a drum clinic in L.A. He was playing until he died in 2004, with an O2 tank on stage with him while he played. I was lucky enough to catch him playing in Tokyo in 1998, or sometime around then.
