It's surreal to recall going to see PIL at the Beacon in 86. Great show. Stage-divers crashing, Johnny kicking them off with a black-booted foot:
"Get off the stage, Oss-Hole!"
In the middle of the Pistols' "Pretty Vacant", no less.
The Beastie Boys were supposed to open. They did not show. When it was announced, the crowd cheered.
