very nice post, dude...i filched this grant green lp from my dad back in the ninities and has become of my favorite lp's...all of time! smooth, silky, right on the damn money....
cheers josh. i agree as well. only thing in my dad's lp collection that might be worth stealing is the Herb Albert 'Whipped Cream and Other Delights'...and that would be solely for the album art!
Beautiful. Grant Green is entirely new to me - which no doubt will leave more ardent jazz aficionados sneering into their cinnamon spiked mochas - but this is just lovely.
True Jazz aficionados prefer whiskey. Already have this track, but more exposure for Grant Green is always fantastic. BTW I linked to this from my blog.
