Nice one. Love this song, only know the Miles Davis version. Good to hear this. Bonus factoid: Connie Kay is the drummer on the album "Astral Weeks".

Sending Yankee salutations down to TX...

Hey, Big B - thanks for the belated well wishes! In my rediscovered sobriety this sounds swell and suitably soporific. The first time, surprisingly, that Chet has made an appearance on AD ?

Emmett: nice pointer on the Connie Kay contribution to "Astral weeks". Didn't know that.

Fusion 45 has been dredging up some seriously incredible facts to the same effect regarding session drummer Hal Blaine's legendary contributions to music over at his place of late. Well worth checking out.

Thanks Emmett. Great factoid about Connie and Van. Glad to finally sweep off the dust and post again. Ib, this might explain picking a lethargic track.
