Rare Pleasure: Let Me Down Easy

Epic melancholy New York disco. The vocalist sounds like Diana and absolutely crushes this, especially on the word "string". Nice proto-house piano as well.

...i mean the original obviously has greater artistic merit but the Morales track gets points for the memories

Good to know, Patrick... anyone have an mp3 of the David Morales? Also, this was covered by "First Choice", I've read? Classic disco band names... First Choice covers Rare Pleasure.

Holy crap! That's Sheridan Dupre in a speedo! I gotta go wash my eyes.

Yes - the video is comprised of actual footage shot on Sheridan's recent "solo vacation".

I am on a campaign here to shed some stealthily accumulated pounds, so i am compelled to announce that i am envious of Sheridan's obvious self-discipline!

Emmett, you string five words like 'epic melancholy New York disco' together and you have my full attention - and boy does this track warrant it. I thank you kindly.

(Nice to see those shots outside Sa Trinxa in the Morales vid - *sigh* how I need to be there this summer...)
