How was the great outdoors? Nature treat you okay? Sometimes I like to walk through the park. Watch the wildlife. Experience nature. Stop for a beer somewhere.
I like that stop for a beer part. We did a whole lot of that so far as I recall!
The weather was great and we got out there in the hills and woods. The kids, especially, enjoyed the freedom. The only trouble is, if you do manage to make it on bleeding feet to a shop somewhere, it's so damn expensive ; everybody appears to hyperinflate their prices to fleece the 'tourists' like their sheep!
Not having the luxury of a car, Rosa and I were forced to restock our supplies on an altogether more frequent basis than is preferable. Imagine, if you will, napsacks sagging half way down to the back of your knees with tins and bottles and sundry unperishables and you get an idea of how much fun the hiking end of our trip was!
