Hey! What happened to the text ? I could this about 8.45 AM your time, but I didn't get a chance to digest it. Your anecdotes about sending off Maxell tapes through the mail (minus the covers; to save on postage) did not go unnoticed. An interesting account.
Yeah, the text was only meant to exist for short while. Mostly long enough for Emmett to read it, and since he posted after my post I assumed he had read it. Thanks for noticing it though!
Nice... well the sync starts at about 3:28, maybe a little earlier. Liek 3:27.5. No earlier than 3:27. No later than 3:29. Much of the video lines up. Plus the end of the animation, with the trolley and the Golden Gate bridge animated in psychedelic colors. How perfect is that? It is so obvious to me that Sesame Street's animators were listening to Help > Slip > Frank repeatedly when they were putting together this piece of genius animation.

The sync should be done on the Help / Slip, obviously.
