Dammit. I've come down with a bit of a cold, and have been sitting at home, feeling more of less sorry for myself. Heard this song, and thought it accompanied the mood quite well. Tried to "Genius" it with the new iTunes, which is a feature that I actually find somewhat interesting. At first I thought it was shite, but let's say I was having a dinner party or something and I wanted 25 songs in the mood of Human Behavior by Bjork. Genius put together a suitable list. But for this song, Genius didn't even know what it was. So I guess I will just have to listen to it on repeat until the cough syrup wears off or it starts to warm outside.
If you're on cough syrup I recommend taking some spoken word audio, fusing it with some ambient music and then releasing it commercially to worldwide acclaim...
In Holland they used to have a cough syrup called "Nattermanns" which was recommended to me; it has a huge codeine suspension content and zero parecetamol. Always look for the "avoid using heavy machinery" warning. If it has one stamped on it, it will do wonders for your cold symptoms.
Thanks so much for posting this.I've been dying to hear this song again, though I could've sworn it was attributed to Sylvester the first time around. Any clues?
Hey anonymous, glad you're enjoying it. All I can say about the Sylvester connection is that there's a Sylvester song (I Need Somebody To Love Tonight) on the same compilation that this is on. So maybe that explains it?

I just found out Vangelis's real name is Evanghelos Odyssey Papathanassiou
Germany is not the world.
I am going to name my first child Odyssey.

I'm familiar with Demis' cover, but Odyssey's original is new to me. Thanks!
BAH! Is there anyway you could repost or email me this song? I've been looking to download it for awhile, but can't find it on iTunes or torrents.
