Good stuff, Emmett. I don't know this album at all, but I do quite like the uncharacteristically overblown production on both these tracks.
Yes, apparently Gene was coaxed out of semi-retirement with a lucrative contract for this album, and then delivered this bombastic slice of weirdness. Good times.
