Special thanks to josher chimney for the mp3, and the image!
Great little groove. Is it something by the Stones this reminds me of ?WV= tophots.
Hmmm... Let's Spend the Night Together maybe? The lyric "When the day is done; We can follow the sun" is giving me a Beatles flash of "Grow Old With Me" melded with "I'll Follow the Sun" -- but that's just a lyrical thing.
No. the hook, I think: one of those Jaggeresque 'Hoo-Hoo-Hoo-Hoooh.." things, a lot later.Kind of like "Miss You" mixed with a Grant Lee Buffalo song, of all things.Whatever, you are definitely right to question why this wasn't a huge hit. Very catchy.
Oh yeah, Emotional Rescue: Ooh hoo hoo hoo, hoo hoo hoo - Sky Diver... I'm hearing it. Good call.
The singer sounds a bit like Luke Haines (Auteurs) to me. Maybe he should make a disco record. Great track - thanks!
Thanks, Emmett! "Emotional Rescue" it certainly is; it's been niggling at me all day.
