Ah, Vic Godard! Never gained the fame and fortune he deserved.
So thanxs a lot for posting his works!
Btw: Do you know, that in 1982 (the Return of colourful POP - Year after all the mostly dark and grey painted Post Punk Years) good ole Vic cut a Swing Record, "Songs for Sale", which is absolutely fantastic?!!
Since it didn't have any impact on the popscene there was unfortunately no sequel but songs like "Love for Sale" (C. Porter Cover), "Hey now I'm in Love" and "What's your name" are standing the tet of time and are stil fresh and juicy.
I am the proud owner of one of the few vinyl copies of that recording. Unfortunately I have neither the equipment nor the technical knowledge to tranform it into a weightless soundfile...

Greetings from Old Europe

I did not know that... I am going to try to hunt it down. Believe it or not, I can actually imagine him doing those songs.
Bonne Chance!
