Ultravox!: Sat'day Night in the City of the Dead

So, how many debut albums had Brian Eno & Steve Lillywhite as the production team?

How many mohawk punks ever went to an Ultravox show?

Funny. The answer would zero. Guess the same answer as to how many Ultravox shows were in Denver during their punk heyday.

Guess I was lucky to see one of Ultravox's earliest shows. Guess everybody knows Bowie's influence is 10,000 miles wide and ten miles deep. Good thing too. Must have been something to these boys because a buttload of folks look back fondly on them. Cannot say I am one of them. Foxx did have a nice hair-do though. Very important that. At the time my granite hardcore punk rock self preferred Curved Air, if you get my drift. (Haven't made a request since you were good enough to put up Eddie and the Hot Rods' "Do Anything You Wanna Do.") How about some Curved Air?

One of the best songs ever! I wore out this album in college. Thanks for posting!

Someone I love persuaded me to accompany them to an Ultravox gig recently. I only went to hear 'Herr X', which was ace. The rest was desperately painful, but I kept looking at Midge Ure and repeating to myself: he wrote 'Fade to Grey', he wrote 'Fade to Grey'...
