This song is horrific - only included on the album to make Jody Stephens happy. I can only get through the first 20 or so seconds.
Of course I meant to write Andy Hummel not Jody Stephens. By the way, lest you think I am just being "mean spirited", I love your blog, and I love Big Star, but most assuredly not the India song.
OK, one "no" vote duly registered for The India Song. I like it; maybe I'm in the minority here? :) In any case, thanks for your take, Plasticsun -- BTW I dig that name...
I give a 'yes' vote but definitely prefer the original version....
