Overshadowed as it is by several seriously huge tracks, I had to check to see if I had this; that my gears were properly oiled.
Not bad - not Badge - but the psychedelic jangle is eerily reminiscent of The Byrds, those feathered spokes on 'Eight Miles High', maybe. Jefferson Airplane ? I can't quite decide, but definitely worth the price of admission just to revel in the interlude.
Ib! Good to hear from you again. yeah I can hear the melody of 8 miles high on "dance... The... Night...", not to mention the frenetic psych noodling. Good call. It's also sort of proto-White Room, eh?

Disraeli Gears was Cream's best album - by a golden mile and this was one of its' several GREAT tracks.
Dance the night away, indeed!
