The Soft Rocks - Whore Your Love
Disco Power Play, The Album, now available from all the finest European record-sellers.
The drummer does something quite nifty at 1:24 (and again at 2:14, 4:35, and 5:26). Kudos.
And yeah, I've had no luck trying to find the source of this re-edit so far, although I did encounter an even slower Nils Lofgren reggae-halftime version.

when you say "source", do you mean the yardbirds tune?
Hey anonymous, this is a re-edit, meaning the dudes in Soft Rocks found some record from the late '70s in which some American funk band did a cover version of the Yardbirds tune, and the dudes in Soft Rocks then edited/re-worked that actual recording to a certain extent to produce what we have before us here. So that original late '70s recording is what I mean by "source." And by the way I think I know what the source is now... will confirm when I know for sure. Thanks for the comment! -Emmett
