Of course you are aware of the link between Terry Melcher and Charles Manson.
Oh dear, what a great piece of poetry! Pure L. A. Noir Fatalism/Existentialism!
If Camus had been raised up in Hollywood or Malibu instead of Algiers he might have come up with writing lyrics like Rebecca.

Yeah, I do know about the Manson link, and it seems to shadow much of that first album.
