EMMETT PRESENTS... WEEKLY* PODCASTS!
Hey folks, I recorded a two-hour podcast. There's some talking in the beginning, middle, and end, but mostly unbroken chains of music. I'm going to try to start doing this every week. Email me for the tracklist! artdecade1977 at gmail dot com

Exciting! Just took the maiden voyage and enjoyed it. Hope you'll continue the sonic 'maundering' (thanks, I learned a new word).

Possible door plate for the office "Epicenter of Madness".

Congrats on the 'maiden voyage'. Suggestion for next time: why not give us your schpiel about 'The Long Seventies'? What they are, why they matter to you, should matter to us, and so on? 'Art decade' has always suggested to me that Bowie and maybe Eno is central to your conception of that, but it would be great to hear you about that.

Good to hear some Modern Eon - 'Choregraphy' has always struck me as precisely their third best tune after 'Euthenics' and their coulda/shoulda been a hit, 'Child's Play' for which I did a Speed-Racer themed vid a while back.

And only vaguely relatedly, I've recently come across a great Kraftwerk bootleg: google 'kraftwerk Leverkusen '74' and you'll find it. The show included a 40 minute version of Autobahn (the one track not the whole album) which is like dying and going to heaven. Recommended.

Emmett,

Could you give me some basic information on how to do a podcast or steer me in the right direction?

Thanks very much.

Thanks for the comments everybody. Plague - I will endeavor to answer your questions when I record the next episode tonight. Checking yr Modern Eon vid now... nice work.

I think I have that Kraftwerk bootleg! Downloaded it in the early '00s at the dawn of the golden age of downloading.

Vintage Spins: I am not really qualified to offer podcast instructions, as I really don't know what I'm doing, but if you google you might be able to find a tutorial? I am recording it using the free program Audacity, if that helps. I also have a mixer, 2 turntables, 2 Pioneer CDJ's, a microphone, and a space echo.

Hah! Kraftwerk! still rules! Just returned from Barcelona where I was privileged to attend their recent Greatest-Hits-Show.

Very spacey indeed and an odd combination of somehow oldschoolish animation-videos and
3D Technology!
