...continuing to get pumped for the big CD release. The source material here is Steam Forest by Andreas Vollenweider, from his album Down To The Moon.
so whats the deal here, I haven't heard the source track but this sounds exactly like most Andreas Vollenweider songs. what have they done with it?
Patrick, the deal is that they added some delays and reverbs and what not and edited out a bridge that's on the Vollenweider cut. Minimal changes, in a way, but for me it makes for a much more enjoyable musical experience.
yeah i didn't mean to sound like one of those people who disowned daft punk after they realised they used samples! just curious. i quite like quiet village's stuff especially Can't Be Beat
