Has it really been 20 years since I sat in a Kew Gardens theater to watch Do the Right Thing? Wow! One of my buddies was a NYC fireman and he wasn't crazy about the ending of the film, that's for sure. Still a powerful movie, definitely Lee's high point.
Is it Lee's high point? If I had to choose, I would watch Crooklyn any day before Do the Right Thing.
