Public Enemy: Bring the Noise

From It Takes a Nation... with a nod to the 20th anniversary of Do the Right Thing. Possibly containing the only rap shout out to Yoko Ono, to say nothing of Sonny Bono.

Here's Vincent Canby's original review of Do the Right Thing.

Has it really been 20 years since I sat in a Kew Gardens theater to watch Do the Right Thing? Wow! One of my buddies was a NYC fireman and he wasn't crazy about the ending of the film, that's for sure. Still a powerful movie, definitely Lee's high point.

Is it Lee's high point? If I had to choose, I would watch Crooklyn any day before Do the Right Thing.
