It was 91 degrees in NY today, and I listened to this 4 times in a row. It had been a long time since I rock and rolled.

Wow, you posted this track and then two days later, Hughie Thomasson dies of an apparent heart attack. He was the last original member, wrote all the songs, sang, and played lead. No Hughie, no Outlaws.I found them again and lost them in one weekend. Thanks for the track, though.

Whoa. That is sad news, and an eerie coincidence.

Rest in peace Hughie, and thank you for the music.

The fuckin Outlaws.

My old band Blue Iguana used to play this one ...

We, too, suffered from the dread rock and roll condition, TMG ... TOO MANY GUITARS!

The live version on Bringin' it All Back Home, I'd say, is supreme.

RIP HT.

That was sad news to accompany this great tune. Head over to the Outlaws site for a bunch of rare and live mp3s including a in-studio radio version of GG&HT.

Thanks for turning me onto this. Why was it eclipsed by the likes of Skynyrd, et al.?
