When we posted that George Faith song last March, I knew it was a William Bell cover, but I did not ken that it was actually more of a cover of this Delroy Wilson jam (if this is even the original?). Such the stellar vocal performance from Delroy.

Delroy Wilson... as name-checked, alongside Ken Boothe, in The Clash's "White Man in Hammersmith Palais"; arguably their finest 45.
It certainly deserves to be regarded as the definitive version, although nice to hear in context with the rest. Sterling.

Cool man, glad you liked it. Didn't know about the Clash thing. If Cornell Campbell and Derrick Harriott also did versions of this (as suggested by the algoriddim link), I'd love to hear those. I'm also liking this dub version ("Different Fashion").
