One song expresses existential angst, the other erotic/spiritual bliss. I'm voting for the latter.

both but going for the stones...for the simple fact it reminds me of 10th grade and the talking heads remind me of 8th. I'd make a poor music critic I know.

Both songs are beautiful. They sit slightly apart from the other tracks on their respective albums due to to an 'otherness', a certain atmosphere that's hard to pinpoint...

That's a good point, Abigail, and I hadn't really thought about it. They do both have an otherness, even an other-worldliness. A kind of gentle echoing, dreamlike quality.
