Nico: Afraid [1970]

With production, piano, and violin by John Cale.

A quick YouTube search shows that this is the preferred song to which family photo collages should be set.

Buy Desertshore here.

Vale Nico (1938-1988), not just a fuct up junkie, but an artist of true merit born from incredible pain. If you like "Afraid" i highly recommend buying the new Nico release "The Frozen Borderline: 1968-1970". It's a compilation of her second ("The Marble Index") and third ("Desertshore") solo albums with sixteen bonus tracks, however Nico is not for everyone, her music is stark, piercing, depressing and angst ridden (and that's just her monotone vocals!!), but when you're in a certain mood her music can be incredibly rewarding, just be careful what mood you're in.
