Todd Rundgren - International Feel

I know it's very 2007 of me to be posting this, but whaddayagonnado? And what is that chord progression reminding me of... perhaps this evergreen tension-fest?

Or this?

On second thought, I think it's reminding me of Hold Your Head Up, by Argent.

ever notice just how phenomenal the production is on his 70's lps?
Mainly, of course, because he engineered/produced them all.

phenomenal.

I'll have to dig up XTC's Skylarking and post a tune...produced by Mr. Rundgren.

"Hold Your Head Up"... yes. I wouldn't have made the Eddie Kendricks connection, but what a song! Thanks for posting it; this got my face off the pavement double quick.

I haven't heard that Beatles track, before. What's that from ? Fuck me, "Yellow Submarine"! Nice.

Man, that Mersey's line off "Sorrow"... I swear I haven't ever heard this!

Funny, I did a double-take on first hearing the Merseys song (via Bowie, of course), not having known that those lines in It's All Too Much were a sly reference from George H.

You can never have enough Todd. For the uninitiated this song segues into 'Never Never Land' (the Disney Peter Pan song) and then a synth tune called 'Tic Tic Tic' and then the rocking 'You Need Your Head' etc. So many styles on one album. A true classic.
